House Rule

A band of Raiders attacks you and steals all your gold and Objects. They immediately stash the gold and Objects at the Oasis (place all the items there) and retreat to their hide-out. Place the Raiders on the discard pile.

This change increases the severity of the Raiders to match that of the Raiders card from Talisman 2nd edition.

Variant House Rule

Instead of stealing no Objects (standard rule) or all Objects (above House Rule), an alternative is to allow each opposing player to select one of your Objects for the Raiders to take with them to their hide-out. This does not apply to your Concealed Pouch or anything hidden within it.

This strikes a good balance between the relatively weak standard Raiders, and the fearsome Raiders of the 2nd edition.
